About
Hi, I’m Zara Taylor. I’m a UKCP and BACP registered integrative psychotherapist - Pebble Therapy is my private therapy practice in central London.
I hold an MSc and PgDip in Integrative Psychotherapy from Metanoia Institute. I've worked across charitable, community and private practice settings. These days my therapy practice is based in Soho and I mostly work with young professionals, creatives and startup teams, though not exclusively.
The personal and political aren't separate to me - that shapes how I think about access to support as much as how I think about therapy itself. So I try to dedicate some of my work to low-cost or free psychotherapy, and advocate for change to the public mental healthcare model.
If it feels like working together might be a good fit, get in touch.
My Approach
I'm an integrative psychotherapist. I primarily take a relational psychodynamic and trauma-informed approach, alongside a broader range of ideas about how and why we feel, think, and relate as we do.
Collaborative
I won't give advice or tell you what to do. Instead, we reflect and explore together - making sense of what's happening and figuring out what change might look like for you.
Grounded
I offer a steady and warm presence that can hold the things you've never said out loud, the contradictions, the parts that don't make sense yet - without judgment and without rushing to fix it.
Curious
We explore where something started and why it exists - as well as how that shows up today. That tends to help change last, alongside symptoms easing.
Relational
The relationships that shape you are always part of the picture - the important ones from your past, how you relate to yourself now, and what emerges between us in the room.
