Therapy for Teams
Startups ask a lot of people. The energy, opportunity and sense of building something that matters is unparalleled. But the intensity, pressure, uncertainty, and the gap between what you hoped it would be and the reality of it can take a toll.
In a small team, it can be difficult to find somewhere to take these experiences, which can affect how people feel about themselves, how they relate to those around them, and whether they get any real enjoyment or fulfilment from what they do.
In my experience, standard EAP programmes aren't well designed for startups. By the time someone's been assessed, referred and then accesses sessions, the moment of being open to support might have passed. Or you might get a generic helpline or whoever's available on a platform’s therapist rota, without an understanding of the unique context.
I'm a BACP and UKCP registered psychotherapist based in Soho and I offer direct access to specialist mental health support for startup founders and employees.
What I can help with
I work with all kinds of things, but often including: anxiety, burnout, relationship conflict, and self doubt that can grow alongside ambition.
The people who seem fine often aren't - anxiety can sit quietly behind high performance for a long time before it becomes visible. On top of that, fighting the feeling that you should be coping better than you are can be an exhausting and lonely place to be.
I work with people across all teams and levels - from founders carrying the weight of the company to team members navigating rapid change.
Sessions are fully confidential and independent of the company. 1:1 therapy offers a space to slow down, understand what's actually happening, and reconnect with what matters personally & professionally.
How it works
There's no retainer and no minimum commitment. Sessions are booked and used as needed - you decide what level of support you want to make available to your team, I handle everything from there.
Sessions are available online for remote and hybrid teams, and in person in Soho for those in London.
There's no referral process and no waiting period - if your team needs support, they can book directly, be seen quickly then receive consistent and confidential support from a specialist practitioner.
